Agilitas, the pan-European mid-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce that Gunner Burkhart has agreed to become a Senior Advisor to the firm. Gunner has over 30 years of experience in global investment banking. He joins Agilitas’s existing team of Senior Advisors – successful industry professionals that provide the firm with strategic advice on its portfolio, supporting Agilitas’s approach to investing in defensible businesses with opportunities to make step changes in performance.
Gunner brings with him a wealth of expertise, having held a number of senior management and leadership roles throughout his career. Gunner spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs in senior positions across both London and New York from 1986-2001, most recently as Global Co-Head of European Equities. In 2001 he joined the executive committee of Deutsche Asset Management as Global Head of Trading and Broker Relationships, before holding senior relationship management roles at Lehman Brothers from 2004-2008 and Nomura from 2008-2013. He is currently a Senior Advisor to the Financial Conduct Authority and is the Chairman of the Help for Children charity.
